The CNHC is a government funded voluntary register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. It’s purpose is to protect the public and requires its members to adhere to its ethics, code of conduct and educational standards.
The GCMT is the governing body for massage and all soft tissue therapies whose aims include the definition and influence of educational standards within its field and to further research into soft tissue therapy.
Currently, Remedial massage is only available privately. If you would like it to be covered by Insurance companies and available on the NHS follow the link above to sign a petition.
